About BabelFish
“A very astute man once said "I'm sick of going to see bands and being bored. I want to be blown away... It's not enough to be another boring group. It's not enough, if you want to do anything.", indeed! Enter BabelFish; the self styled Action Rock threesome who have pledged to save the world from despondent, uninteresting music. Together Rich (guitars and vocals), Myk (drums and vocals) and C.R. (bass and vocals) hit the big green button that lowers your safety harness then the small red one that sends you on a rollercoaster of dynamics and styles that guarantee you’ll be straight back in line to ride even if you haven’t got a fast pass. With each member bringing a myriad of different and similar influences to the kitchen, as eclectic as The Wildhearts, At the Drive-In and The Prodigy, the resultant Action Rock meal is one that tastes refreshingly different but is familiar enough for everyone to consume. The recipe? One cup of pop, three pounds of punk, ice with the contents of an alternative piping bag, garnish with just a pinch of metal and serve well hot with plenty of attitude.
Know for their incendiary live performances and on stage repartee BabelFish have just released their debut short player iNGLORiOUS to critical acclaim and are currently
putting the finishing touches to 'Adverse Camber' it's evil half-brother who all the cool kids will want to play with.
BabelFish are the match to light the blue touch-paper of Rock and the sensible adult to retreat to the safe distance of Roll. Will you be ooing and ahhing with the rest of the crowd or locked behind the patio doors with the dog?
