Foxtail Soup

Foxtail Soup was formed in 2003 to do a ‘one-off’ special in Worcester, but are still together seven years later. They are regulars at local folk clubs, and the many pub sessions around the region. They have performed at all five Bromyard Sessions in Concert”, Worcester Festival 2008, and Worcester Music Festival 2008, 2009 & 2010. They have collaborated on recording projects with Cmajor7 and Angelcynn in the past three years. In the Spring of 2010 they were part of the very successful “Harvesting the Past” project in conjunction with the County Records Office History Dept and Chantry School, Martley, and subsequently were asked to provide musical material for a new agricultural history exhibition at Worcesterhsire County Museum. Foxtail Soup headlined the Bromyard Folk Festival curtain-raiser concert in September, 2010. They have now completed recording their own first full length album, which will hopefully be available early in 2011, once the final mix and mastering has been done.
