Ria

My Name is Ria. I'm a solo artist who plays guitar and sings. I'm also a visual artist. I write and arrange my own songs, which I perform live with a full band lineup. There are four of us on stage all together. I love interesting lyrics and strong contrasts in vocal styles. My music is inspired by lots of different things. Some of those things are Music, films, art, life, death, the surreal, the grotesque, imagination, good things, bad things and strong kick arse ladies such as Ellen Ripley. I like to think that my lyrics reflect life and all it's complexaties. My music could be described as Alternative rock, art rock or lyrical indie...what I really love, is for you to come and see me and my band play live and make your own mind up.
