Shaking Trees

Shaking Trees are a new five piece soul/accoustic rock group, from Worcestershire. The band formed in March 2010, and have already gathered local interest following a two month residency at The Moonshine Room, the new music venue in Bewdley. Each member of Shaking Trees has different musical influences, taking inspiration from rock, folk, classical, soul and jazz, this has created the unique and distinctive 'Shaking Trees sound.'
The essence of Shaking Trees is all about quality song writing and arrangements, performed with an amazing intensity.The 'spine tingling ' vocals of Becky combined with Alberts sublime guitars, Dans inventive keys and the "in the groove' bass and drums from Hetty and Nige,
The band have now recorded a four track demo, live at Lanes End Studio in Shropshire. 'Pictures' a track from the demo has already been chosen to be played on BBC Radio Introducing Shropshire four weeks running throughout November 2010. This created interest from a local independent radio station The Bridge 102.5 fm who asked Shaking Trees to perform a 'live' session on The Paul Smith Afternoon Show, which took place just before Christmas on 21st December.
