Umphff are a trio from Worcester, Drums Paul Pokey Vaughn ex Dons, one of the most energetic drummers around, a real show man who is always eager to step up to the mike and perform his own songs in the original pokey style, Poke plays in various styles and drives the umphff forward.

Luke Wurmli, started umphff Upon returning from living in Europe & touring with the likes of Townes van zandt,Afgan Whiggs & Paul K, playing Harmonica, he has jusy recorded for Dodgy for there latest c.d due to be released later this year, his first project upon returning to GB was to do a live sound track to the classic film Nosferatu, which went down a storm, Still writing from searing melodies to comic lunacy, He puts the rhythm into Umphff.
