About Worcester Arts Workshop

The Worcester Arts Workshop is a welcoming and unique arts hub in the heart of Worcester city centre, 200 yards from Foregate Street Station, delivering visual arts, live music, performance, education and film. Almost entirely volunteer-run, it is a registered charity which engages with the local community by providing arts opportunities, activities and development within Worcestershire. Formed in 1976, it commenced in a new, innovative phase in January 2011 when it was saved from closure by a dedicated team of hard working volunteers with huge passion and drive.

We share our building with Café Bliss a delicious, independently run Mexican café using local ingredients and Vamos Theatre, a full mask touring company. With rooms for hire and opportunities to help out, come along and see what we have to offer!

B.D. Lenz

Worcester Arts Workshop, Worcester
Time: 20:00 to 23:00

B.D Lenz, an American jazz guitarist is performing at the Worcestser Arts Workshop on Saturday 18th July at 8pm. B.D Lenz is an award winning jazz guitarist and critically acclaimed composer, his music has been used in hundreds of TV shows internationally, most recently on “Breaking Bad” and “Catfish: the TV Show.” Along with James Rosocha on bass and Joe Falcey on drums, this trio bring an eclectic mix of jazz standards, pop songs and original music. Their sets may venture from a lush jazz standard, to a rocking cover of Radiohead, to a funk-laden original, to a Bob Marley classic, yet they still manage to produce these songs in their own style, reflecting Lenz's unique flavour, and are always open to improvisation!

“We're jazz musicians at heart but have been raised on the same pop &rock music everyone else has. So, we like to live in both worlds and combine recognisable songs with fearless jamming” - B.D Lenz

Lenz's distinct style will definitely get the audience on their feet and if you're a jazz fan, you will not want to miss this amazing gig! For more information on B.D Lenz visit www.bzlenz.com and for tickets for this event please contact the Worcester Arts Workshop on 01905 25053.
